WEEE Take-back

Electrical and electronic equipment carries the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol: it must not go in your household rubbish. Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2013 we help you recycle it free of charge.

Free in-store take-back

When you buy a new electrical item from us, you can bring an old item of the same type that does the same job (like for like) to our shop at 77A Rudyerd Street, North Shields NE29 6RR, United Kingdom within 28 days, and we'll take it back for free recycling. Please bring your order number.

Recycle near you

You can also take old electricals to your local household waste recycling centre. Find one at recycleyourelectricals.org.uk.

Before you recycle

• Back up and wipe phones, tablets and computers, and sign out of accounts (for example Find My iPhone).
• Remove batteries where you can and recycle them separately.
